Google has introduced a new feature that lets you search for new libraries in your area by city name.
The new feature is called “library search” and is designed to help people find new libraries, according to the company’s website.
“When you search through a map, the first search result you get will tell you whether the location in question has a library, as well as a map that shows where the library is located,” the site reads.
“In some locations, you’ll see a list of libraries, but not all of them, and if you search that list of locations, Google will provide you with a list with additional information.”
The new feature has been tested in Boulder, according the company, but will be rolled out to other cities in the coming days.

“We’re excited to be able to bring Boulder’s library search feature to other places,” Google said in a statement.
“Our vision for the new library is to offer libraries in Boulder more than the traditional library experience, where you go to the library and find out what’s happening there.
This means having a wide variety of resources to choose from, as we’ve been able to open libraries in cities like New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Portland, Seattle, and more.”
For now, Google is only offering the library search functionality to Boulder, which is located about 20 miles northwest of Denver.
